Finch

Finch's story will melt your heart. Hit and dragged by a car he was found bleeding and in agony with a broken femur in a field. He then waited two weeks on a stray hold at the Long Beach shelter for his family to come and get him. They never did. We know this amazing boy was somebody's pet as he is an absolute delight. He received orthopedic surgery to repair his broken femur and months of recuperative care so he could not only be whole again but run and play. He is well mannered, potty trained, knows basic commands, loves riding in the car, walks great on a leash and just wants to snuggle with you. He is 2 to 3 years old and weighs 12 pounds. He has a high energy level. He would do best with a playmate as he loves other dogs and loves to play. Finny, affectionately known to his foster mom loves everybody he meets and would be great with older kids. Finny is neutered, vaccinated, chipped and has had a dental. What Finny needs is someone to open their heart and their home. Is it you?
