People have described what Yorkie Rescue of America does is nothing less than miraculous. Shelters come to Yorkie Rescue of America as their last hope. The transformation these dogs undergo is extraordinary and delights all who are involved in the process, especially those fortunate enough to adopt one of our Yorkies. Our goal is to make sure our dogs are placed in the ideal environment for their needs.
If you are interested in adopting one of our Yorkies, please fill out the adoption application. Once we receive it, you will be contacted within 48 hours to assess whether you and the dog you are interested in are an ideal match.

Meet Bennie!
This quiet little lady may be small at just 6.5 pounds, but her heart is enormous. Bennie was found alone in the rain by a Good Samaritan, despite every effort, her previous family was never found. It's clear she's weathered some tough times - but you'd never know it from the way she warms up and leans in for affection. '
Bennie is around 12-year-old with a strong cuddle game. She recently had 16 teeth removed and is now feeling so much better, moving through life with a newfound pep. Though she has a wobbly little walk, it doesn't slow her down or seem to bother her at all. Surgery isn't an option due to her age, but she navigates the world just fine and never complains. This sweet girl is low-maintenance, affectionate, and perfect for someone looking for a calm, loving companion. She prefers quiet companionship and would be happiest curled up next to her favorite person. Bennie needs to be the only dog in a peaceful home. She isn't big on sharing her human. She's incredibly easy going - rarely barks, aside from the occasional protest when left alone in her X-pen. Potty training is a work in progress, and we suspect she was previously left outdoors or had free roam of a space without structure. With consistency - especially taking her to a pee pad immediately after waking up - she's making great strides. Bennie rides well in the car, enjoys being brushed, loves a leisurely walk, and never says no to a snack.
She's been fully vetted: spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and had a full dental and lab workup. Now, she's ready for the soft landing she deserves. Bennie is looking for a home where she can be cherished for exactly who she is. She is all healed from her recent hernia surgery and fully vetted. Located in Los Angeles, CA.

WOODY
Hi! I'm Woody and I'm looking for my perfect human. I'm 3 years old, 10lbs and very much still a puppy. I love to play, play, play and then cuddle. I am not aggressive in a mean way, but I do play rough, so I need a home with no kiddos and an active human or humans who will play with me.
I am great at going potty in the yard or on a leash, and I love walks. I'm crate trained and will go there on my own sometimes to nap or comfort myself. At night I'll sleep in my crate with no problems, but I'd much rather burrow under the sheets and cuddle next to you. My foster family loves me, but maybe not my foster cat brother. I want to play with him so bad, but my barking makes him hiss and swat at me.
I am looking for a home of my own with no children, cats or other dogs. An adult only home with prior experience owning a dog and is dog savvy.

GABBY
Meet our sweet 5-year-old girl who weighs just 6 pounds but has the biggest heart! She’s well-behaved, knows a few commands like “sit,” and is fully potty trained—such a smart little lady. She absolutely loves her stuffies, toys, and especially food (any and all food, really ). She’s also great on leash walks and rides perfectly in her car seat, making her the perfect little travel buddy. When she’s not out and about, she’s happiest curled up in your lap, soaking up all the cuddles she can get. While she prefers to play with her humans, she does fine with other small, friendly dogs. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, pint-sized companion who just wants to be by your side, this adorable girl might be the perfect match for you. Gabby is fully vetted and just had a dental. She is located in Los Angeles.
