Ralph

Ralph is my most recent rescue.  I got a phone call one morning from a friend in animal rescue.  She told me there was a yorkie at the Chula Vista Shelter in San Diego, California and asked if I could rescue him.  His owner died and the next of kin did not want him.  Oh my, when I saw his photo, I could not say no.  Not that I would have anyways.  What a cutie pie.

The day I picked up Ralph he jumped in my arms and we spent the day together by the beach and went and got a new harness and leash for him.  We then met his foster mom and she took incredible care of him.  “Ralph is a cuddle bug and loves to sleep in bed with me” his foster said.  Ralph had is teeth cleaned, some extracted, and had an eye exam.  He is blind in one eye, but it does not affect him at all.  This love bug loves to go on walks and he never gets tired.  Ralph is now in his new furever home with a wonderful couple who are retired.

They are at home a lot and wanted a pal.  Someone to take walks with, take naps with, and cuddle with them at night.  Plus their daughter has a yorkie and lives right around the corner.  So he has a playmate as well.
